I've only had the verve for about 2 months, but felt i wanted to write a review as i had real trouble finding information (non-biased!!) about the verve before we bought it.
Basically, it is wonderful! It was a BIG financial commotment, as i swore i would never spend such a ridiculous amount on a pram, but so far i love it, and even hubby sings it praises!
We had a Mountain Buggy Swift for daughter #1 and being only 20 months apart, when number 2 came along, i knew i wanted a double of some kind. I didn't want a 'side-by-side' as #1 will probably be doing more and more walking herself, and felt it would be silly to get something so wide. The verve is certainly on the heavy side (13.5kg without the double kit, which i'm guessing is about 1-2kg?), but i don't lift it anywhere except in and out of the car, and i find the shape more ergonomically friendly to lift than the Swift. It is also wider than the Swift, but that's about the narrowest 3-wheeler around!
As far as i'm concerned, you have to be prepared to compromise on certain things, and for me that was the width and the weight. For a double though, both these things are fairly average. I certainly wouldn't recommend the verve if you only had one baby for this reason.
It is super stylish and beautiful, has the tightest turning circle ever, and looks very comfortable for both kids.
The first time i put it together there was a bit of confusion as to how i folded it with the double seat on (another massive advantage!), but a day later i was a pro, so not really an issue i'd say.
The basket space goes down to not much when the double seat is attached, but again this was something i was well aware of (seems to be the case with all p&t prams), and something i could live with for its other advantages.
All in all we love it and look forward to getting a good year of use out of it, depending if there's a number 3 or not!!
