Gotta love Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark, he's such a supremely arrogant hero, but loveable all the same. Fight scenes were pretty good, filled with plenty of special effects. As a tech person I also enjoyed the scenes where Tony was working on his holographic computer in his house, manipulating things in mid air with his bare hands.
The introduction of S.H.I.E.L.D. looks like an Iron Man 3 would be on the cards, as the comic-book adventures of Iron Man have seen him involved heavily with this group.
A great action flick with a great story line and really cool gadgets. We went with a group of boys (aged around 7-9 yrs) who loved every second (aside from the brief kissing scene).
The action travels around the globe and the scenery is dramatic.
Tony Stark and his Iron Man suit have heralded in a new era of peace but the politicians want him to share the secret behind his technology and of course the Big Bad Guy (played by Mickey Rouke) arrives on the scene to remind Iron Man he is not as indestructable as he would like!
A great night out for all the boys and action loving girls.
