Thomas & Friends Blue Mountain Mystery
My son, like so many 2.5 year old boys absolutely loves Thomas the Tank Engine and anything to do with him.
The Blue Mountain Mystery movie was no exception!
As most parents will know it is hard to hold a toddlers attention for longer than a few minutes, my son was engrossed the whole movie and we have since watched it about 10,000 times.
It is an awesome feel good film for little ones, with the trademark friendly characters, catchy sing along songs and life lessons from the TV series.
Definitely reccomend for a movie day with little people.
The Toddler is watching this right now so what better time to write this. I received a review copy of this film and he was pretty excited to see it in the mailbox.
Today, he's picked out the DVD from the drawer and put it on himself (after wiping it on his shirt while saying "I clean Thomas" - apparently I must do this a lot).
What I like best about this film is that it doesn't stray far from the TV series. The story is a bit more indepth - it involves Thomas stumbling across a mystery while working at the quarry with the Narrow Gauge Engines - but the characters and the charm are all the same.
Any Thomas fan will love it - why wouldn't they? It is just like a very long episode of their favourite show!
And if the kids are happy then the parents are happy too although they probably won't sit down and watch it too. I can happily watch many kids' movies (at least the first eight or nine times) but there's no second level with this film. But perhaps that's why it is a perfectly safe and thoroughly enjoyable choice for your little Thomas fan!
