I loved watching shrek 3 with my son .It was fun to watch and gave me full entertainment till he time i was in the cinema. I was just curious about the story that what wil happen next. My son also enjoyed the movie for 45 minutes but after that he lost his interest.
I loved its graphics, animations, colours and story line. Its a nice movie to watch with kids and keeps us full entertainment.
I am a shrek series fan so i enjoyed watching this movie a lot. There lots of funny scenes that made me laugh and i could hear other kids laughing also at some of the punch lines.
As with all Shrek movies, the animation is fantastic. Within a few minutes of watching, you are absorbed into the fantasy world as if it was real!
Without giving anything away, the storyline revolves around Shrek's 'mid-life' crisis of being unhappily stuck in the ground hog day of parenting. He feels he has lost who he once used to be.
I went with DP, 4 year old DS and 9 year old DD. I thought it was great for DP to see it (for our own ground hog days!!); of course the 4 year old loved it, and I must say, I thought it really reassuring as a mother that my 9 year old DD said that she liked that Fiona was responsible for getting herself out of a sticky situation (don't want to give it away!!), instead of waiting for her prince charming to supposedly come and save her.
I'm not normally a big Antonio Banderas fan but I have to admit, I love his voice as Puss. The Shrek series are some of his best work!
There were lots of giggles for the kids, and some laugh-out-loud moments for the adults too. Both my kids declared they want to get it on DVD when it comes out so that we can have the whole set!
Double thumbs up from me!
