What a lovely place to spend the day!

Not only is it free entry (hard to come by these days!), there are areas throughout the Museum that give the kids a chance to explore objects and do activities, write postcards, record a radio segment, watch a 3D movie of a design that they've made. And the best bit of these areas is they generally have somewhere for the parents to sit comfortably while the kids are enjoying everything on offer!

After getting through all the areas, we grabbed lunch, drinks and coffee for us and went outside to sit on the deck over looking the lake.
Wow what a view!! Once the kids had finished lunch, they were able to play on the grassed area while we continued to enjoy our coffee and the view!

There is a parents room and free stroller hire which we didn't know about until we got there so we'll be using those on our next visit!

Don't get me wrong, I love taking the kids to Questacon and other places but I love the fact that the Museum is free and has so much on offer  without it being difficult to keep your eyes on the kids because they're running off in different directions every two minutes.

It was a relaxing day out and I didn't come home completely exhausted....there's a first for everything!!!
