Wet n Wild
Our family had a fantastic time at wet n wild. I think that they have put a lot of effort into appealing to all ages and especially catering to the toddler age group with buccaneer bay which is absolutely fantastic and maybe the best thing about it is that you just get right into the pool and don't have to line up with an impatient toddler. We were also able to take DS in Calypso beach where he loved having his ow tube, and into the wave pool which he also loved.
The staff at wet n wild are fantastic as well, there are always heaps of lifeguards around in case anything happens. You can take your own picnic with you, or bring your BBQ things and have a cook up on the bbqs there. Overall there is a great family atmosphere. Next summer we will definitely be getting season passes so we can go as often as we like.
There are several slides and attractions that accomodate any age! My 4year old son is quite the daredevil, he enjoys the "big boy" slides, his favourites are the flumes and super 8 aqua racer. Whilst me and my younger boy(2) enjoy floating down Calypso Bay, Splashing around in the Huge Wave Pool or chilling out in Bucananeer Bay, which is a great area designed for children under 10, it has several slides for younger children, A giant bucket that fills up and spills over the water adeventure park, has several water features and pistols to play with and it quite shaded, as well as a huge swimming pool that is completely shaded.
Buying food and drink at the park can be quite expensive, I recommend bringing a large water bottle and packing your own lunch, or bring along some snags and make use of the BBQ's, the great thing about Wet and Wild is that you can BYP food/drinks!
Entry price is reasonable, we paid $79 for 9months of unlimited entry to Seaworld, Movieworld and Wet and Wild. But standard entry is only around $60 per adult or $35 for pensions and children 3years+
Weekends tend to be more busy, so if you can come during the week, queue time wont be half as long and you wont have to deal with huge crowds!
