The Beach House is a great amusement when visiting Glenelg. It has water slides that are heated in winter time. These slides are great fun for kids that are 4years + .
Most of the activities within the Beach House are great for older children and will amuse them till your 'credit' runs out.
The cost per a ride goes is not cheap. You have to buy a $2 card then place credit on it. It is a dollar per a credit. So if you happen to want to go on mulitple things over and over it can add up especially with more then one person.
There is a mulitlevel playground inside that has a couple of table and chairs around it and conviently located next to a cafe set up. For the amount of credit to get into the play area and the chance of actually getting a seat while you wait isn't worth it. You're better off going down the road to Wiggly Worms Play Cafe.
It is set up very much like a archade inside.
For a replacement of the old magic mountain I am not overly impressed.
It has had a totally makover in the last 5 years and is now extremely modern and cool, there are heaps of arcade games and massive water slides and bumper boats!
Such a funky and fun place to visit and is situated right on the beach of Glenelg which is a beautiful spot, plenty of places nearby to eat if you don't want to buy from the cafe inside The Beach House.
Parking is a bit iffy and slightly expensive if you stay a long time.
Packages are avaiable if you want to ride waterslides a lot which make the day much cheaper.
A great day out with lots more to see and do nearby.
