What a lovely park, not just for children adults too. There's a variety of entries to the park and being so large you may not get the whole park covered, thus explore another entry at a different time.

There is a lovely covered playground for the children to play on and is never fully overcrowded, thus something for the kids to play on without waiting. For the older kids there's a large climbing frame next to it which is not under cover.

A nice short walk to the cafe which caters for children too with some "novilty" food items. you can either sit in at the cafe or walk around the park with takeaway items. This cafe is also the location for the bike hire.

A nice walk down the hill from here takes you to the lake to feed the fish, eels and ducks (which kids always love no matter what).

There's a lookout tower and water features but a decent walk with littlies. Either drive there or a lovely bike ride. (or save it for another day when you choose a different entry to enter the park lands)

BBQ's availble throughout the park thus a picnic is a wonderful idea for this park.

Note the traffic direction is one way only, thus if you spot a car park you should park in it as the only way back is to exit the park and come back in through the entrance again

Being a mum of 7,its hard to find places to go to entertain all the kids.

(My kids range from 16 yrs to a 1 year old)

This park has it all.It has plenty of parking,is safe and the kids can even get wet on a hot day safely.

This is where we hang out most weekends when there is nothing else to do.

I love this park for my family and it is definately worth the drive there! During spring and summer i love to pack a picnic lunch and head down there.

It has wide open spaces if the kids want to kick around a ball or play chasing games. Theres plenty of places if they want to play hide and seek. And also ample play equipment.

Theres also plenty of shaded areas, bbq areas and toilet facilities and a cafe where the kids love to go to grab an ice cream after lunch

It has gorgeous views of the city skyline and the wetlands

The kids love running through the water fountains on hot days and we always make sure we take bread to feed the ducks and then take a leisurely stroll around before heading home

I would definately recommend it for a family day out or even a great place for a kids birthday party!

We love going to this park. We often load the car with our bikes and enjoy a ride around the park. Our toddler will often say we are riding through the jungle (when we ride through the mangroves!). Its has ample space for sporting games with the family, great playgound that caters for differing age groups, beautiful duck pond, bbq areas, water area etc etc the list goes on. Near the cafe there is a place where you can hire bikes for the whole family.

Great park that we enjoy going to. We recenly spent Fathers Day there with the whole extended family. Was great and better still the kids were entertained all day!!

I love going to Bicentennial Park, in fact I love the Olympic Park. There are just so many wonderful little areas for the kids to play at... even the big kids.

Love the water play area, also the big flying fox. When the kids get bored of one location, it is just a short drive to the next little adventure/playground.
