Phoenix Park Malvern East

A little haven in the inner suburbs

Parent Reviews and Comments

I already love this park even though my little one is only 5 months old. I am lucky enough that my Maternal Health Centre is located next door, but I have to admit for years driving past this street I could see the fort part of the structure and always thought... one day when I have a kid... that's where we'll go.

It's tucked away just behind Chadstone Shopping centre so might be a good place to let the kids run a bit before you go shopping! There's a community cafe on site with flat whites at hand for mum, lots of bench seats around the leafy park and electric barbeques for family and friends to gather for events.

But the best part of this park is the structures that have been built - huge wooden forts and mazes, lots of swing ropes and in's and outs that kids just love.  And lots of room to run. There's a skate bowl over the other side of the part for older kids.

We often just sit there and watch the kids playing and fill and hour or so. I just can't wait for my baby to be a bit older to let her run wild here!
