We love this park! There is heaps to do but the highlight is of course the giant steam train! A absolute haven for a train loving toddler!

There are tables for picnics and across the carpark here are bbqs. We love visiting this park during the day, however as night approaches there tends to be some not  family friendly locals hanging around the bbq areas drinking.

The highlight of this park for our family is the train themed areas - with the huge old steam train and the little train themed play equipment and station. Our little boy and his cousin (visiting from overseas) had an absolute ball here!

The rest of the park was good fun too, however, the high play areas have very easy access to get up (easy enough that my 1.5 year old could get to the highest level with NO hands on assistance from me) but lots of areas where they could easily fall off. Understandably, this part of the park is for older kids, but aside from the train part, there really isn't a toddler specific area with lower equipment and slides and all.

we have only ever been for the playground, but I imagine that there would be other facilities too, which would make this a great spot for a family day out!
