No wonder other states pay out Adelaide. Has any adult that used to have fun years ago seen it now. The video footage on the website has a child going down an over rusted, dirty, graffiti covered slide, running through tunnels that look worse than the underground Ascot Park train station tunnels and quotes from people saying 'I loved the cavern slides when I was little, even if they did smell like urine' and next to Adelaides Oscar winning park bikies used it as a excicution spot, a child fell from the pirate ship, drowned and died, drugs and suspicious looks attroshous and I would rather take my kids on an outing to Yattler...STOP promoting the yucky place! PLAAH!!

This playground is more suited to bigger kids, its stretched out over a large area and there can be lots of stairs depending on which activity you want to do. Not alot of shade so don't forget the sunscreen.

Plenty of free parking, next to the parking area is a huge grass area where we always sit and eat a pack lunch.

Always had fun here as a child and my boys love it too!

I remember going here as a kid and thinking it was the best thing in the world, after going back recently I was really dissapointed to see that it has been let go quite a bit.

It is still huge and there is quite a bit for kids to do but the nearby bins had been set on fire and I found a used needle near one of the big slides, that was enough and we got out of there pretty fast.
This is a awesome playground! Its huge there is lots to do and explore. It covers children of all ages. Theres lots of space for the kids to run around. Plenty of picnic tables, but to be sure to get in early because st kilda can get really busy on the weekends. Ive found the best time to go is during the week its not crowded and its easy to get a park and keep a eye on your child.
