some lovely receipies, a nice keepsake book

The McGrath Foundation were partners in putting this lovely book together. It is full of recipes from the country's favourite chefs and their mothers. Ian Hewitson, Maggie Beer, Max Walker,Peter Kuruvita coowner of Flying Fish restaurant in Sydney, Hadleigh Troy and many more including comiedian Josh Thomas.

I loved the variety of recipes in this book from mains, desserts to snacks. They have shared their family recipes and a little story with each one about what memories these dishes bring back for them. I found the recipes easy to follow and ingredients was all available from the local store. Lots of photos of them with their mums, but I would have prefered to see photos of the dishes as there were none.
