I have had my hippy seat for about 2 years but only found it again the other day.  I had tucked it away until I was ready to use it.

I finally got to use it the other day and whilst a little awkward for my 13 month old I can tell you it was much easier to carry my 3 year old.

It helps give that extra bit of hip to sit bub on so that your back is kept straight.  I think I will have to use it more frequently before I would be able to use it for extended periods with my kids.

The only drawback that I found, for me, was that I am a bigger girl and the waist band has velcro as well as the clip for extra support but I am too big for the velcro to attach. (I will make myself an extension piece.

The best part was that I could easily put it on by myself without any assistance and whilst holding bub.

i bought this hip seat at a baby and kids market and its one of th best baby/toddler purchases ive ever made. i used it with my dd from about 18mths and still us it now and she is 3.5! i just know it will get alot of use ovr thr next few years as my baby boy gets older. its small lightweight and easy to put on. holds a set of keys or some loose change. as mentioned it does not have back support though i find myself always with an arm around my little one regardless :) the weight distribution means that i cant even feel my baby or toddler when they are on my hip and there are no ahces and pains after wearing it. its  great alternative to a carrier if you have back problems though it does ofcourse require an arm to be out of action.
