We are now a week in to The Ultimate Zumba Challenge and our challengers have survived!
And frankly, I’m loving reading their Zumba Challenge diaries – they’re quite inspirational – if only reading about exercise helped me get fit!
Anyway – we thought we’d do a bit of a round up to let you know how the girls are going.
Basically, everyone has been enjoying the exercise. While they might have found it a little hard to keep up the first time round, they comment that the Step-By-Step is easy to follow and they’re much more coordinated the second time.
They also say that it’s actually fun – the time goes fast and they’re not bored. Some of them have even invited friends over to join in on the fun and exercise.
The challengers are also trying to eat well to maximise the benefits of the new exercise regime. And if they happen to fall off the wagon – they’re only human after all – then they hop right back on!
And the support they are giving each other is inspiring.
The challengers say that even after one week of exercise they are really noticing just how physically slow and sluggish they feel if they do miss a day or fall off the ‘good eating’ wagon. They realise they probably felt like this all the time before they realised it was possible to feel better just with a bit of exercise and some good food!
And a big congrats to Goblin Queen who has seen some awesome drops in centimetres this week! For starters she’s lost 6.5cm from her waist!!! Amazing!
