Facebook pages: Make sure you don’t miss out

Facebook changes faster than a toddler’s taste in food!

The latest changes mean that you might not be seeing our Posts appear in your News Feed. Or those of any other Facebook Pages you follow, for that matter.

You might be missing out on things you might not want to miss out on – like competitions, opportunities to receive free products to review as well as links to useful tools, interesting articles and blog posts.

Also – sometimes we post funny pictures of cats. Or olden-day people saying smart-alec things like this or this. Now, you wouldn’t want to miss out on THAT!

So Facebook thinks it knows what you want to see on your News Feed but if you’d rather make the choice yourself you can go to any page you ‘Like’ (here’s one for example: and hover over the ‘Like’ button.
Wait for the drop-down box to appear, then tick ‘Get Notifications’. Easy as.

Interestingly, Facebook is also testing a Pages Feed – where users can see all the updates from Pages they ‘like’ in on single stream – without all those annoying updates from friends and family getting in the way 😉

Only some Facebook users can see this new tab on their profile but everyone can access it through this link:

Now, if only there were step-by-step instructions on dealing with toddler’s eating habits!
