A bag, a bag, my kingdom for a recycled bag!

howtofoldplasticbags-sarah prestonOver the Christmas break, I don’t know how many bags I had to buy because I was “unorganised” and forgot to get the green bags out of my car… or perhaps… didn’t even put the bags in my car in the first place!

It was then I decided that I needed to do this folding thing so we were organised for shopping trips, drives in the car, or taking the dog for a walk.

Here is a quick tutorial of how to fold your plastic bags so you can flash off your recycling prowess to the world!

I still use a caddy that stores all my bags for the bin, and I’m not saying to fold all the bags you have, but this idea has already saved me a few cents while at the shops and I’m feeling quite chuffed about my new organised-ness!

My handbag holds a couple, there are a few in the car; it’s quick and easy to do and a cinch for the big kids to fold too!

Do you recycle plastic bags?

We recycle ours for the bin, but now we have more opportunity to use them as they are stored in more than one place.

Hopefully this inspires you to be a little more organised so you can “high five yourself quietly-but-madly ” (like I did) when someone said to me recently “Do you have a plastic bag?”

Live with Love,
Sarah Preston
