The Maternal and Child Health Service run maternal and child health centres providing regular appointments and baby check-ups, parenting courses, breastfeeding help, baby feeding help, childhood immunisation clinics and specialist services when you need some extra help and advice over the telephone. Most of these services are offered free of charge to residents of Melbourne and all other regions of Victoria.

The Maternal and Child Health Service also provides extra resources to support families with additional needs via Mother and Baby Units.  

If you need immediate help, parenting advice is available over the telephone, 24hr, on the Maternal and Child Health Line 13 22 29
