    Default weight watchers question

With weight watchers, when you join up for the meetings what booklets and guides do you get free and what do you have to pay for??
I am going to start doing WW but am trying to figure out if its more economical to do the at home program or the meetings??

    Hi Harmony

I joined over 12 months ago and i think you get your weekly booklets free and a passport. I think you have to buy the points guides, etc etc and i bought a journal early on to help with tracking my points.
Hope thats some help... .any time just let me know!

i worked out it was a bit more economical to go to meeting. i didn't buy points books etc.. as i joined weight watchers online for $39.95 for 3 months, and you can work out everything on there.
they give you a voucher for the online thing (it's really good) when you go to the first meeting and register

For me it worked out more economical going to the meetings. I joined doing the home program about 2 years prior to going to the meets. I got all the stuff sent out, read it all and that was it, i didn't even start! So that was a big waste of $$$.

When i finally went to a meeting, that was it. It was great. I stuck to the program and found it much easier than i thought it would be.

I had some of the points books from the home program package, but for me it was attending the weekly weigh ins that kept me on track.
