    Default Cycles after miscarriage

    Hello,

I had a miscarriage just over 3.5 weeks ago, I bled for around 2 weeks altogether. I have had HEAPS of EWCM since I stopped bleeding and tonight I've started bleeding again! Could this be my period less than 2 weeks after the bleeding ended? I feel like I ovulated really soon after I lost the baby, probably before the bleeding stopped, so it would make sense. Just feels so brutal especially having my period back so soon!! 😅 no fair!

Hello - I’m so sorry for your loss

I’ve had a few miscarriages and I’ve usually ovulated the same time I normally would or a couple of days later.

I’m currently going through a missed miscarriage though which has been a bit confusing. I started spotting long before I started bleeding properly so it’s a bit hard to tell when this new cycle should begin.

But basically, first cycle after a miscarriage can be a bit wonky. I’ve also found you can’t rely too much on CM as an ovulation sign because your hormones are all over the place.

It does seem unfair to get a period so soon! But! At least that means your closer to everything getting back to normal in terms of your cycle…

Thanks Beary. I'm so sorry you're going through a mmc - it's absolute bull****. Such a horrible experience, sending you so much love.

Well it's definitely my period & it's sooooo heavy! Heavier than the actual miscarriage! For the first time ever I've bled through a tampon, my period knickers, my stockings and my dress 😰 being a woman is hard sometimes.

    Default Cycles after miscarriage

I ovulated 2 days after hcg back right down, it was exactly when all bleeding completely stopped. So yes , got a period 2 weeks after bleeding stopped
