Default What are you wanting/giving for Mother's day?

I’ve asked dh for a mermade hair curler. I bought myself a new purse and jumper from status anxiety.
I’m getting my mum a voucher for a few floats at the salt place near us.
As for the day, dh is working 12 hours. I might go down to my parents so dad can cook us breaky

No idea what dh is planning to get MIL.

We just bought a Ninja Foodi and a Spinwave, and dh joked that they were for Mother's Day, but I think I'm going to tell him to seriously make them my presents. Dd1 and 2 have bought presents at the school Mother's Day stall.
i bought a spinwave last year for mother’s day for myself! best gift ever!

We ran our Mother’s Day stall at school today so DS bought mil some awesome tea and a makeup bag thing , he got me a bunch of stuff from that as well and I told DH I wanted a Swarovski necklace to match my earrings they got me for my birthday so pretty sure they will get that , plus I just bought new vases from country road so hopefully they will get me some flowers to fill it!

I don’t really want anything. My husband always takes the kids to go shopping for Mother’s Day. He took them last weekend and I just asked for a new zip up jacket. I do know they got me a few scarves as I saw them in my son’s cupboard which I love as a scarf is always part of my winter attire for work.

I broke a nice vase last year, so now only have one. Not usually a problem but I've been given heaps of flowers lately and could have used it. The one I have left is really cheap, so I like that idea for me!

Also like the idea of a voucher for my mum. She's gotten right into quilting since she retired and those fabrics are expensive! I just have to work out how to sneakily get the name of her favourite shop.

I found the nicest winter pjs the other day, they are sooooo soft (I can’t wait to wear them ) so I got them & told DH to give me them & he is taking DD out after work on Friday to get something else. He will get up with DD & make breakfast & I’ll get a sleep in so that will be nice.

As for my mum & mil, mum wants slippers & a lottery ticket, she’s not fussed so I got her them & will take her out for lunch on Saturday & get her flowers as I won’t see her Sunday & mil just wants money to put towards a Pandora charm so we are all putting in for that.

This year I've been more focused on what to get my mum that I've kind of forgotten about myself!

I bought mum some super comfortable pants - I have two pairs of them myself, so I know they are a treat to wear

DH will be happy to treat me to something, we just haven't discussed it (we haven't had much time together to discuss it as he's been working night shifts). I'll probably ask for some goodies from Mecca.

DS has the mother's day stall tomorrow at school. I always look forward to seeing what he chooses.
