Default Has anyone used a scalp scrub/scalp exfoliant product?

I'm thinking of trying a scalp scrub - has anyone tried one?

There's a few on the market, some of which are on the expensive side.

My scalp gets a bit dry and flaky. I currently just use a silicone scalp massager brush when I shampoo, which helps a little. With winter coming, I'd like to try a different approach.

I'm open to home remedies too (as long as they don't leave your roots all oily and gross).

I used a L’Oréal exfoliating shampoo on recommendation from a hairdresser once. It seemed to help (I think). I now use a medicated treatment program because I get oily roots but a dry itchy scalp. That is probably helping more

Christophe Robin sea salt scrub is

It's quite expensive for a tub, but you really do only need a small amount as it thins out as you start working it through your hair. When I use it, my hair feels really clean without the stripped bare feeling that I otherwise get from a cleansing shampoo (I still use this every few weeks), and my wavy hair dries so nicely.
