Default IVF clinics in Melbourne ??

Hi all, just wanted opinions about best IVF clinics in Melbourne...

I and my husband both have fertility issues and we have been trying to conceive form past 3 years. And because of my husband’s fertility issues we always tried ICSI with surgical sperm retrieval procedure. We have tried our luck with Monash... with the second cycle i got pregnant but unfortunately we lost our beautiful son at full term due to some medical issues. We got 5 day 5 embryos from that cycle, Later we tried few FET’s at Monash nothing worked and then changed our FS and Clinic to No.1 Fertility. Dr Lynn Burmiester is lovely, everytime she tried differently but unfortunately nothing worked, we did 3 fresh cycles and with every cycle our fertilisation results were very poor. First two cycles we ended up with 1/2 day 5 embryos which was not the case with Monash earlier and cycle 3 we ended up with no embryos 😒😒 The surgeon who performed my husband’s sperm retrieval this time told it might not be the issue with the sperm it might be that lab or depends on how they are doing ICSI. Now we are thinking of changing our Clinic again.

Any suggestions regarding IVF clinics in Melbourne??

    Looking forward for your replies.

    thank you

Can I ask which "surgical sperm retrieval procedure" your husband did and how much does it cost for that procedure?

He had tesa/pesa couple of times, these procedures were covered by our private health insurance only out of pocket was the anaesthesia fees and once he had micro tese and electro ejaculation this was bit expensive anaesthesia and surgeon fees was around $2500-3000.

Which doctor did you do micro tese? Can you give me the detail? So the total cost for the anaesthetist and surgeon fee is $2500-$3000? Any extra cost for Day Surgery room?

We saw Dr Darren Katz at men’s health melbourne. Surgeon fees was around 2500 and anaesthesia was around 800 i guess or may be bit less. We dint had to pay any hospital day care costs as we had private health insurance.
    Hope this helps
