    Default All pregnancy symptoms disappeared.

    Hi everyone,

I’m 10w2d pregnant. I’ve had terrible morning sickness with a mixture of severe nausea and extremely bad vomiting from about 5 weeks enough so my GP put me on anti sickness medication as I wasn’t eating or drinking.

Other symptoms I’ve had have been, tender breasts, food aversions, and extreme bloating.

My last really bad day was when I was 9w4d pregnant when I had a terrible cold and all day vomiting, ever since all symptoms have been slowly disappearing, I no longer have tender boobs to touch, bloating gone down and my extreme morning sickness is nearly fully gone, I now only vomit the second I get up in the morning which is more dry retching with only a small amount of something actually coming up.

I’ve spoken to my GP today about it and he is sending me off for another HCG blood test to make sure they are still increasing (had one 2-3 weeks ago and was in expected range)

I don’t remember having anything like this my previous 2 pregnancies.

Has anyone had this and have a positive ending? As google unfortunately is showing me the worst of it all.

    Thanks

Hi there. Same thing happened to me at around 9 weeks and it all turned out fine. Symptoms disappeared for a couple of weeks. I stressed myself out completely. But then they came back and my pregnancy was fine.

I think it’s pretty normal for symptoms to come and go. Lots of ladies on this forum gave me reassurance that they went through the same thing when I was having my freak out.

Best of luck. I completely empathise and I hope everything turns out ok.

This can be completely normal, I would however just be getting a scan at your gestation, why the GP has ordered bloods when you’re over 10 weeks?
    Good luck x

Yes agree. Bloods won’t be that helpful at this stage. You’d be better off getting a scan

    Thanks ladies,

The reason the GP wants to do bloods is because I’m unable to get into any ultrasound place for 2 weeks even as an emergency which is when I’m booked in anyway for my 12 week scan. Plus the GP said it can be that my body is having a break from the consistent vomiting and everything else. My last pregnancy was 11 years ago and I feel I’m all new to this again.

However last night my nausea came back and was hit and miss all night with a lot of dry retching.

This morning I’ve already been sick so can only see how today goes.

That makes sense. Sounds promising and good luck with the bloods and scan - does sound very normal.

Thanks Missalissa, since yesterday I’ve felt awful and the same today with lots of vomiting. I think my body was having a break and instead of enjoying it I was stressing 😂 and now with feeling like crap I wished I had enjoyed it and ate everything I wanted 😂
