    Default Day 21 bloods!

    Interpreting natural cycle 21 bloods!!

    Hi all,

I normally don’t get periods and had a LOT of ivf to conceive my two kids so I’m trying not to get optimistic but I’ve recently had a couple of periods so I asked to do some blood work. I did one lot day CD10 and the comment was ‘normal follicular patter’ then I did a CD21 bloods.

I’d love some help interpreting it and to hear your tracking results in a natural ovulatory cycle or what you have been told by your FS/GP so that I can compare.

At CD21 my progesterone was 12 (according to the reference range on the form, anything over 6 is luteal phase). My LH, FSH and Estrogen were lower than the luteal ranges though. Dr Google tells me conflicting things.. that around 11 could be considered an ovulatory cycle or that it needs to be over 25-30...sooooo please share!!

I think about 20 nmol/l confirms ovulation. Are you sure about the CD?

Yep definitely cd21...but I don’t normally have periods nor ovulate so hard to judge if it would have been the right time frame!

Ah ok. If you're not sure you ovulated 7 days before the cd21 test it could well be off. Even a couple of days difference would make that a perfectly fine level.
