Cervical cerclage and ivf/iui

I tragically just lost my twins at 20 weeks 5 days a few days before christmas due to an incompetent cervix. I had an emergency cerclage at 19 weeks 3 days when the short cervix was discovered but it sadly didn't hold. My obstetrician has said I would need to have a transabdominal cerclage next time before I got pregnant. Just wondering if anyone else has done IVF or IUI after having this procedure as I'm wondering whether this will be affected with the cervix stitched.

I'm so sorry for your heartbreaking loss. I have no experience with cerclage, but just wanted to say sorry for such a terrible loss.
