Hello everyone,
I had a routine Pap smear, the results came back as high level HPV,
so my GP referred me to an OB/GYN. She performed a colposcopy and re did the Pap smear $400 later, and I just got the results back as being normal so no issues.
Has anyone had a high reading and then less than a month later normal results.

It could mean that the virus that can cause cervical cancer (hpv) was detected but there was no unusual cell changes on your cervix? You will want to keep regularly getting checkups though to make sure changes don’t happen, and to check if the virus has been cleared from your body.
