We are going to my Mums down the Fraser coast for Christmas to take off to the Gold Coast and We have managed to carve out 5 days to head to the Gold Coast and have narrowed down our resort choices to the SeaWorld resort or the NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort. Anyone stayed at these places? Which would you choose?

Also just to ask while on the topic of the Gold Coast can anyone tell me where I can go to buy theme park tickets cheaply?

What state are you in ? In NSW , you can buy them through the NRMA online and if a member , you get a discount. You can also look online for discount theme park tickets.

Themeparks.com.au for a combined movieworld, seaworld, wet and wild pass.
Else look at racq. May be worth checking the Dreamworld website to see if they have any deals at the moment.

Thanks everyone the treasure island resort was a nrma affiliated resort so today we joined got the discount and will use it to get discounted park tickets
