Unless he's willing to talk and work on things then nothing will change. I think I'd be planning on how I would go about being a single parent.

I’m sorry that you’re going through this. I’ve been through some stuff with my DH in the past and he has changed quite drastically so I do tend to look at these things through the lens of positivity iykwim? The catalyst for my DH though was me finally standing up and being 100% ready to leave the relationship if he didn’t make immediate changes. Fortunately it worked. But it didn’t all come together at once, he didn’t start helping out with the kids more until years later when I was working and he just had to.

If I was you I’d calmly state what you need and that if he isn’t willing to do that that you’ll be leaving.

And at bare minimum I’d want to know where he went...
    *big hugs*

that’s not behavior from a partner who is in a mutually respectful and mature adult relationship. i certainly wouldn’t be tolerating this long term and i wouldn’t be ttc/having more children with such a selfish person.

i’ve seen a few of your posts and the story you paint isn’t ideal. i’m sorry you’re in this position with this guy. i know what i’d do.

I'll clear it, give me a few minutes. I hope you're okay.
