    Default show me your houseplants!

as the title suggests, show me your houseplants! i’m a fairly recent convert to houseplants so keen to see what everyone else has, as well as what pots each one is in.

we started with a fiddle leaf fig 5 years ago, which is now in excess of 6 feet tall

    since then, have added:

    monstera deliciosa
    devils ivy
a ctenanthe (which was a bday gift)
    coin leaf peperomia
    philodendron cordatum
    chinese money plant

also have a little succulent in the bathroom as well as a little syngonium.

i’ve been propagating the devils ivy over the last few weeks so hoping for some more plants to add to the fold.

post pics if you have any, i’m a little obsessed with houseplants currently!!

Not sure if it's what you're thinking of but we've got a hoya(?) Creeper thing that's ancient...
Several spider plants, and Friday ds1 and I grabbed a dwarf lemon.

    I kill everything. 🤦‍♀️

DD has a couple of succulents. They are very pretty. One actually lives in the toilet. Will take some pucs when I get home tonight (if I remember)

i bought one of those pretty looking orchids a whole back. i had it in the bathroom on the window sill. not sure if it was too warm/sunny for it, or i didn’t get the watering right, but yep, i killed it.

keeping plants alive seems to be a fine art...

    Default show me your houseplants!

here’s my devils ivy propagation project. there’s 3 in there, all have a really nice root going. will leave for another 2-3 weeks i think then look at potting.

this one has been really easy to propagate (so far). i watched a youtube video on how to do the cuttings and then you literally plonk into water and keep topping it up (or changing it, as i’ve been doing) and giving it some indirect sunlight and the rest it does itself. such a nice way to multiply your houseplants for free!IMG_5033.jpg
