Default Crying and upset before, during and after transfer. Migraine & vomitin, still get BFP?

    Hi

Just had transfer #6 of blast #8.

When I got to the lab & realised my final numbers from this cycle I was devastated & cried.

I had taken valium as per usual but it still hadnt stopped the pain.

My fitness watch showed high stress during this time until now too.

I know its a good blast 4AA but I kind of psyched it out thinking of my next step as soon as I was told my final number.

They refused to transfer my 2nd blast because it was a C grade.

Anyone had something stressful happen and crying before during and after transfer & still got a BFP?

Trying to relax at home for the rest of the day but hard because I have a migraine and now vomiting up even water. Trying to sip water slowly and keep going back to bed.

    Worst day and worst timing.

I had a really bad stomach bug and was throwing up just before my transfer. I was really dehydrated and they had to stop doing the transfer and get me to drink loads more water before they could transfer the embryo. I was 100% convinced it wouldn’t work but it did and I now have a nearly 6 month old son. I hope this is your lucky one! X

I had my transfer from my current cycle and then immediately work totally blew up and I had a week of intense stress that I could not control... I was totally convinced that the cycle wouldn't work because of this.
I'm now 9w 3d pregnant... and whilst nothing is yet guaranteed, it hadn't seemed to have had an impact...
Good luck! Any if you're not already consider getting regular acupuncture, it'll help with coping.

I had my transfer when I wasn’t feeling great. The next day (Sunday) ended up at an after hours medical centre and was put on antibiotics.

I coughed, aches and fevered my way through the tww and was convinced it couldn’t work after all that. This made me upset so I also spent at least one weekend crying.

Still got a BFP and baby girl is cuddled up asleep on me right now.

    Good luck

    Congrats & thank you.

Oh I cant stand acupuncture. I prefer meditation. Been throwing up & even contemplated going to ED for IV fluids.

What a day!!! Migraine, vomiting, crying hysterically & already written this off when it was a 4AA grade & I shouldnt!

Trying to get rest today and tomorrow

    Thank you for replying. X

In 8 years and countless cycles, my only BFP came from my worst transfer. The emby was so poor they didn’t even want to continue with the transfer. I cried through the whole thing. My FS told me there was no hope and to go home and have a drink. I went to a friends 40th that night and had a few ciders.

That little emby just turned 7.

Don’t over think it. There isn’t as much science to all this as you might think.

Thank you!!!! They transferred a good blast but I was so upset they didnt tell me I had a 2nd until legs were wide open and they said there is a 2nd but its a C so no..then I said you transferred a C on my friend she has a healthy 3 year old son. He goes 'did I' but discouraged me. I usually transfer 2 blasts at a time and a huge part of me feels he just didnt want to transfer the 2nd. I was devastated Ive never had 1 blast and numbers crashing down.

That I couldnt bring myself to still give the good one they transferred hope and love. I was too focused on the whole outcome and the past 2 years of cycles.

Bad migraine and vomiting all day / afternoon and evening but seems now Im not throwing up anymore. Headache is still there.

Thank you for your response it gives me faith & you are right about not knowing the science about much of this. X
