You can definitely cut and paste or print threads (thread tools > printable version). I'm not sure how long the threads are that you would like a copy of. Let me know if they are too long to do that and I'll see if there are other options. We wouldn't want you to lose your journals.

I went to printable version but not sure how to save it. When I press save as, it only allows me to select the type as webpage. I'm not sure I'll still be able to access it once the website closed?

I just went through and coppied all my diaries and lasted them into word documents.

Wow I didn’t see that coming, what a year it’s been and now this!

I was first initially on here 14 years ago when I had my first son, under a different name I think and then went years without being on because he grew up but now I’ve had two small ones since and pregnant and I love writing in my diaries and reading everyone else’s. It’s going to be so weird without bubhub. I will wonder how others are getting on, it’s like you grow with them a little as they take you on a journey of their lives through their diaries. I wish everyone the best xx

I am so sad to read this. I remember the first time I got on here to read some positive stories of people falling pregnant after trying so long as this was the position we were in then I found out I was pregnant, that was 4yrs ago. My gorgeous DD turned 4 yesterday. I have had some wonderful advice & “met” some lovely ladies online who I will be forever grateful for, especially when I used to sometimes doubt myself as a ftm. So thank you so much for being able to experience this with you lovely ladies (& guys)...

I read the news this morning but couldn’t find the words then. Brad and Hilary - thank you so much for all of your wonderful work. I stumbled across bubhub when first pregnant with my second (who is now 11). I have real life friends from women I met here back then. This place was a safe haven when I was struggling with 2 little kids. I still pop in often, as it’s a place of familiarity and comfort. So thank you.

What a sad day. While I’ve not made any “real life” friends through BH, I have definitely forged friendships with other members on the forum. It’s been a great place to come to to ask for advice or just to chat to people who are in the same stage of life that I am. I will definitely miss the social aspect of the forum.

On a side note, is there a simple way for us to archive things such as a journal? I’d love to be able to keep the pregnancy/parenting journals I’ve created as I find they’re helpful to refer to when it comes to dates/milestones etc.

Yes I’m really interested in keeping my journals too!

You could try printing "to pdf"?
