Default Strong positive then faint positive

    Hi all

I had my strongest positive yet on Sunday night. I have had quite a few chemicals previously so I thought this was THE one! Then today I have done a morning test and evening test and they are both much fainter I’m thinking it’s going to be another chemical. I had my bloods done today so hopefully will get results tomorrow but I’m stressing out! The top is from Sunday followed by this morning and this evening. Thoughts anyone? Or has anyone had this happen and it all turned out okay?
    Thank you

    How many DPO are you?
Could be a chemical but could also be hook effect where the line gets lighter because you HCG is high, unfortunately you'll have to wait until your BT results come back 🤞

Hmm. I've had an early one but I had a bleed before my line changed.

The lines super strong for a chemical but the fact its fading seems to be that it maybe one Hun.

How many days until AF is due?

As in you ovulated 21 days ago or you’re on day 21 of your cycle?

Ah OK. It’s strange for to fade so late then? Fingers crossed for tomorrow’s BT result xx

At 5 weeks it could definitely be hook. Basically FRER are designed to detect really small amounts of HCG so once it goes over a certain amount it overwhelms the test and it's no longer accurate, something to do with the molecules being to big to move the ink.
The only reason I'm suggesting it is because Sunday's test is so strong but sadly you can't rule out a chemical either.
I really hope your BT results bring you joy, I have everything crossed for you

I got my results, 719! I have to have another blood test tomorrow to make sure it’s rising and doubling.
