Question Potential public birth through private fertility doctor?

Hello everyone, it's been a while.

DH and I are TTC baby no 3 eight years after DD. I have PCOS and at minimum will need clomid, as I did last time.

My concern is, I'm not interested in giving birth privately. My previous experience private was not great, and I much prefer to be in an out (pending complications) with a midwife.

How do I go about seeking fertility help but not feeling obligated to use the OBGYN privately?

You can just get the script for clomid but then once you are pregnant, just dont make another appointment but instead go through the public system, you dont have to use the doctor you get the script from.

I've seen gynaes for Clomid scripts and only ever gone public. I was never pressured into using them for maternity care.

    Thank you for your reply.
Yeah, I had considered doing it but worried I would look shady doing it.

Did IVF for two bubs. Never even occurred to me to think about private care for birth. Public all the way after conceiving!
