Hope to be joining team July/August... going to need to wait on semen analysis for DNA fragmentation first though. Hopefully I can get in for a fresh cycle by August!

Love & good vibes to all x

Fingers crossed for you!! Having an end goal or a date to aim towards helps me with this process so hopefully you get that soon

I’m starting my 8th cycle/FET today!! So far I’ve had:
DS (22 months)-fail-fail-MC (12 weeks)-fail-fail-fail-current and have 1 embryo left after this transfer!

They’ve finally changed something and upped my gonal f from 50 to 75 so we will see if it helps!!

@Mad89 good luck to you. Hope you can yield some good numbers of eggs this round.
@DreamingofDoubleLines how long it takes to get the DNA fragmentation results? Have you filled out the paper for PICSI?

I’m recovering very well from EPU. Still feel a bit sore if I walk too fast. Other than that I’m all fine.

My FS called last night at 6pm to check one me. Suggested me to have a FET first then move to laparoscopy if I have a BFN. We decided to go with her plan. She also wants me to do an ultrasound to check for polyps n she needs to do a FET briefing with me before my FET.

D5 post EPU. 8:20pm last night I found out I was bleeding. Lower back pain n headache pain like I used to experienced when I had my AF. I never had such a short cycle. (Only 16 days). I’ve emailed my nurses and my FS. Hopefully nothing is wrong.
I’m wondering if I will have a long cycle this time.

    Hey all
I thought I might try and jump back in now that I know a little more where I stand.

Journey thus far 2017 IVF/ICSI: BFP mmc; BFP twins- angel DS and DD (27months).
2020: Jan failed fet; Feb failed fet

I’m having my epu tomorrow. I had 6 decent follicles my last scan so really hoping I see at least that number on my hand when I wake up!
Feeling quite nervous as were talking 43yo ovaries here - but hopeful and a smidge excited as well.

@Mad89 so sorry to hear of your last bfn and I hope one of your two remaining little frosties is DS sibling 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@IVFjourney I hope you get some reassurance today that all is ok. I had an 11 day cycle after my second FET this year!! Record short for me but fs thought my first bleed was just withdrawal from drugs and after 11 days my proper AF 🤷🏻‍♀️

@DreamingofDoubleLines fingers crossed you sneak in this month

Thanks @IVFjourney, no egg collection for me (still going from mine in 2017) so another Frozen embryo transfer!!

I’m feeling more positive again, I’m usually pretty neutral about the whole process because I’ve done it so often now it’s just another day and another injection...but even just the small change in dosage has given me that little bit of hope to see if anything has changed!! Selfishly I’m hoping it speeds things up a little because then transfer may fall in the school holidays so I don’t have to take more sick leave to travel the 1400km round trip in the middle of a school week!!

Good luck everyone!! We can do this!!

Thanks @Mad89 for starting this thread, good luck for your FET I really hope this is the one for you

Our journey so far - TTC for nearly 5 years, started IVF 2017. We have done 10 stim cycles (2 were cancelled due to poor response). Out of those we have had 7 fresh transfers and 1 FET from cycle 8. Our last 2 fresh transfers from Nov and Feb ended up as chemicals but it was so amazing to finally see 2 lines! We also finally got lucky on our last stim cycle and managed to get 4 frozen embryos which we are so thankful for.

We are all booked in for our frozen embryo transfer tomorrow morning! Feeling nervous and excited! We are on a whole new protocol with a new specialist so really hoping all the extra meds/interventions will do the trick!

Good luck to everyone cycling or getting ready to cycle, it’s such a hard road but it’s great to have support here
