Default ERA Test - Did you do it & was it worth it?

    Hi

I have done a previous post about my journey & someone suggested the ERA test.

I had never heard of it & my former clinic never offered it when I did my hysteroscopy biopsy for NK Cells.

Its expensive too. So before I go down that route, did anyone here do it & find it benedicial?

    Nutshell: BFN Fresh x 3, BFN FET x 1 (2 blast), Chem x 1 FET (2x blast). I am 37 & started when I just turned 36.

PCOS, Hypthyroid, heterozygous C6773 MTHFR, Low grade slightly elevated NK Cells (on Dr M protocol since the 2xFET).

    Thanks in advance,
    WD x

I have the same as you plus Adenomyosis and Endometriosis. My FS protocol is Prednisone, Utrogestan, Crinone, Clexane and Aspirin. I did four cycles with no luck (one chemical).

I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy to remove then the Endo last November, then had the ERA test in February this year. Results came back that we were transferring 13 hours too early. So our next cycle back in April was adjusted and here I am 14 and half weeks pregnant.

It is an expensive test and fairly new, (not to mention painful, for me anyways), but so worth it. My FS said it was worth doing as at least it would rule one thing out if it came back normal, but in our case it showed we were transferring our precious embryos too early.

All the best on your journey!

    xx

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I was never offered it even when after #3 they did a hystetoscopy for NK Cells. Just transferred another 4 blasts.

I would of paid for it if offered to me.

I only had success with my 8th transfer ( ended m/.c) and 9th transfer ( current 6w6d) after the era test. I also have endo and Adenomyosis. My era result said we transfer our embryos too early in previous attempts. Just saw a strong heartbeat yesterday. It's worth it if u have done everything. My specialist also put me on intralipid and neupogen on top of celxane and prednisolone.

Thank you. I am on prednisone, clexane, doryx & progesterone. Skipping the intralipid but I believe this test is worth it for my next FET.

5 transfers & 7 blasts of good quality, there is something going wrong

Old FS said 80% of the results came back at day 5 but that is still 20% that are not the standard assumed day 5.
