    Default Recommend me a candle!

I’ve decided that I love candles at home. I’ve had them for years and never burn them but I’ve decided - stuff that I’m burning them! But now of course I’ve run out!

So can you recommend a candle? Brand and scent?

Things I like: vanilla, coffee, caramel, lime, coconut, linen, ocean scents, as well as not smelling like chemicals, or air freshener

Things I don’t like: lavender, more traditional scents, anything too sickly sweet, candles that smell nice in the jar but don’t actually leave any scent in the room.

    What do you recommend ?

Im obsessed with Jo Malone’s Blackberry and Bay candle (and fragrance) and and Cocolux island fig, Cassis and peach - they aren’t cheap but smell amazing - we also use for all our open houses and settlement gifts that everyone comments on is Circa Home - Cotton flower and freesia which are a lot better price wise

Tilley coconut and lime is divine the scent of their candles lingers long after the candle is put out.

not quite what you’re asking, but if you’re after nice smells, what about diffusing essential oils?

much better for you as they’re pure and not manufacture fragrances, plus there are blends that smell divine (not like the typical lavender smell).

i like young living essential oils, northern lights black spruce is currently my favorite. it’s very grounding.

again, i might be way off the mark but thought i’d share just in case it was something you hadn’t considered.

100% glasshouse tahaa. You sound similar to me and it’s my all time fave! It’s vanilla caramel.

Glasshouse Montego Bay is coconut lime.

Both leave amazing scents in your house.

I love Japanese Honeysuckle from Hart & Co. I have it as a reed diffuser but I know it also comes as a candle.

Thanks Hubbers! These are great suggestions! Candles, diffusers and oils (which I haven’t used in years) I think I’m going to make my way through this list one by one to see if I can find a fave.
I like different smells in different areas of the house, but not overpowering or too obvious.
E.g in my laundry I have an Ocean breeze scent from glasshouse or one of those brands. I like how in the laundry it’s fresh and clean and not too heady.

Jo Malone are super expensive but if they’re great, and have long burn time, worth it I think.
