*Fluff* When isolation ends, what’s the first thing you’ll do?

Reality - to go for a swim and do some laps! Also to see DD start swimming again and enjoy a nice meal in a restaurant!

Dream - Finally book my flights back to the U.K.

definitely can’t say we’ve missed swimming lessons. not sure if we will resume those once iso ends. ds is so bad at listening at the moment and it ends up being a lot of hassle for negligible benefit.

Take DD somewhere she can have fun. She’s such a patient poppet. Every time we walk past the park she says “park open today, Mum?” And every day I have to say “no baby, park is still closed”. There are no tantrums and no arguments, just “okay Mummy”.

She deserves more fun and more social interaction than she is getting.

Dream: be comfortable to feel ok going back to normal life, like nothing happened, I have extreme anxiety about coming out of lockdown too soon and sh!t hitting the fan.

This is me too. I’m reading everyone else’s posts about going to populated places and the thought of doing that scares me. I hate living in fear but I’m just so scared I’ll pick it up somewhere and give it to my parents.

My reality: sending the kids back to school / daycare and hopefully being offered the job that I was on the verge of being offered just as covid-19 hit Australia!

I don’t think my life will change much, I’ve kind of enjoyed being a home body I do want visit FIL, he lives more than 50km away so we haven’t been able to see him.

Visit my parents and in-laws. They've been so sad about not seeing DD and I've missed them a lot!

I'd also love to rebook our cancelled family holiday to QLD before I have to go back to work... but not sure that interstate travel will open before then, or that virgin will still be around to use our credit from our cancelled flights
