I have a few symptoms in common with my last BFP, but I was on boosters until last Sunday so I don't trust anything right now.

    How are you all coping?

@sushinemami, I found my iuis fairly hassle free. My last one was done bya trainee ( under close supervision) but I've also been told I'm pretty much a textbook case for the procedure. A little bit of cramping with the catheter and the insemination, nothing too bad though.
    Ooh Bindi1234 fingers crossed

Im no expert but Im more than happy to share my experience! The actual IUI was a lot less stressful than I anticipated, but the 2ww was a lot harder than I expected!
Hi Pippy18. I would just like to know the process from the initial appt to insemination... our initial appt is next week. How did yours go? How quickly after your first appt did you do your first round of IUI? I'm glad to hear it wasn't as stressful as you anticipated, that gives me some relief.

Hi Jobaby1. Are you alternating IUI and IVF?

I'm still figuring out the abbreviations, what is ttw? What does the beta test involve? I hope it all goes well
I have read the cramping is similar to when a pap smear is done?

TTW is two week wait. Thanks, but unfortunately AF (Aunt Flo / period) turned up.

The process for me was a bit extended, since I had to wait to get to the top of the donor list, but once I selected someone I just had to wait for Day 1 of my cycle (AF), then call the clinic. I went in for a blood test day 9 to make sure my cycle was progressing, the a few days later another blood test and an internal ultrasound to check uterine lining and follicle progression. Depending on the results (and if you're using a trigger) you'll get a call saying to trigger at a certain time and be told when to come in for the insemination. After that, you may have booster shots afterwards, and you'll probably be called in a week later to check your progesterone. Your pregnancy test will be 14+ days after the iui.

The cramping was only really light, so like a pap smear is a good description

    Good luck with your cycle!

AF came this morning. Looks like I'll be joining you with IVF soon enough. I have to wait for my beta on Monday before anything happens, so I don't think I'll be starting until July (which was my intention anyway).
