Default Covid19 and new born babies.

My friend became a grandmother the other day and told me she was not able to see the baby in hospital. The mother was still in hospital until Tuesday and then would come home but they were not able to see the baby even at home.

Then yesterday I receive some photos of her in the home holding the baby and her husband as well.

No social distancing. and I hope they washed their hands.
I know it must be hard not seeing the baby in hospital and desiring to see their granddaughter -

but are there any rules regarding this?
