Feeding a crowd in a casual setting would have me suggesting paella, chunky beef pie, or gourmet pizza. But I'm not going to suggest anything because your menu sounds perfect for a cold autumn night. I'd go with that.

Spag bol is my go to in situations like this because it is easy to reheat the sauce and then cook the pasta while the sauce is reheating and throw a quick salad together. Lasagne would work too though.

I always make my own garlic bread - slice bread, fill with garlic butter and freeze until needed, then cook. Although bought is easy too.

Apple crumble sounds great. If it was me, I would make the topping ahead of time, refrigerate and then assemble at the last minute and cook instead of reheating. I just use tinned apples for apple crumble instead of stewing my own. If you stew your own, cook them ahead of time as well as the topping.

Thanks ladies. Well see how I go. I usually like cooking my lasagna sauce for a few hours. I could try the pressure cooker to speed it up though

I’ve been struggling to think of things to cook. A friend showed me a guy on YouTube - Nats what I reckon. He’s hilarious and can cook. He’s anti jar sauce and packet stuff. Most recipes are super easy and ingredients basic and just about every time I’ve had everything in the fridge/pantry already.
Swears like a trooper which I don’t mind!
    My favourites:
    Mac n cheese
Spaghetti bolognese (this one really surprised me. No garlic, no basil. And milk!)
    Slow cooked lamb
    Carbonara

Homemade lasagne & garlic bread tonight. I made individual ones so we had our own & some for the freezer, even made one for my mum to take home when she visits during the week.
