We can't do a fresh transfer as my progesterone is to high, really hoping this little one makes it to the freezer for FET after covid19.
    Come on little munchkin

This is exactly the boat I was in this stim cycle. 1 fertilised egg. Progesterone too high for fresh transfer. I was pretty devastated. But then, that one fertilised egg turned into our frozen blastocyst and this morning I just threw up for the first time at 6 weeks very much pregnant

    Come on little embryo!

    Hi!
I’m new to this all started my first round of IVF with ICSI this month after 2.5years of trying. We were one of the lucky few that made it before Rona! Had my retrieval on Friday with 15 follicles, 8 eggs, 4 mature then 2 fertilized. Is that normal for it to halve each time? We’re praying for a FET this Wednesday. 🙏🏻

The drop off rate does vary due to numerous reasons. It could be either an egg or sperm issue!

Good luck, it only take one at the end of the day! xx

Drop off is completely normal, it can feel like quite a shock the first time.

As everyone here will attest it only takes one, good luck

Hey @Alex welcome! My FS described this effect as "funneling" as in the numbers get smaller at every stage. My first cycle had 10 eggs collected, 5 were mature, 3 fertilised and 2 were frozen. This cycle had 11 eggs collected, all mature, only one fertilised and was frozen. It's a real gamble and each time can be a surprise (good or bad). I hope your 2 fertilised are thriving! Take care xx

We have a fully hatched AA grade fresh embryo on board! Hoping against hope that this is our ‘one’

3 others made it to PGS biopsy and are now on ice - am very curious to see the results.

I’m conscious of how lucky we are to have made embryos each time - if only my body could figure out how to get them to stick!

We each have our own challenges - sending baby dust to all 🤞

Day 11 scan results...looking good, especially after my blood test on Saturday the clinic said I’m basically still baseline!! They’ve asked me to cancel my Wednesday scan because this one is good and have a BT tomorrow

I’ve always triggered cd16 and transferred cd22 (which will be Good Friday) but I’m just hoping they don’t change it on me this cycle! I’ve already booked my Airbnb and leave from work to drive down 🤞🏽
