Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. It’s so sad to see the thread go so quiet but it’s only inevitable when there is no travel expected this year. I hope we can all get back on track once this all settles.

    It's really crap.
I had a mini meltdown Tuesday during my first work from home day. Totally grateful I still have a job and can work from home. But by three I had to crawl into bed and just hide.
Wasnt sure I would be able to cope.
But it's been getting better day by day. 😒
    Having the radio on helps.

Still devastated I might not get a chance to try again this year. The age thing is starting to really freak me out.

On top of my normal, I can't believe I'm still trying to do this, and that I'm doing it alone, and why isn't this working, what wrong with me conversations in my head... It's a busy place I know... 😂
I can't believe this virus and the nearly total shutdown of the world...

Hope your all doing well! 😷
    Stay safe.

I know what you mean about the meltdown and conversations in your head 🤣.
I also worked from home on Tuesday I do have tears often because I can’t head off as planned this Sunday night. Also because Of the MC. I spent a lot of time hanging out at the fridge then feeling enormous. I hated working from home. I returned back to work on Wednesday and my coordinator was surprised 😀.

I think most of us have those conversations in our heads. Mine never stops 🤔.

Totally agree. I've been working from home since Tuesday and have been having those conversations with myself. Today I thought to myself will I end up going to Greece, will this even work or should I start accepting that it may never happen. It's a mental struggle at the moment 😔

Totally feel you, I've been working from home since Monday and have gone from lows to highs back to low lows. I just had a really long unexpected cycle so started to get excited at the thought of a miracle pregnancy before crashing back to Earth as normal.

I feel very lucky to have a roof over my head and secure job, but am starting to feel claustrophobic and trapped at the thought of being stuck at home unable to do what I need to do to have another baby. I was so excited that 2020 would be THE year and now it's all gone to s...

Just have to get through this by keep thinking about what I do have instead of don't have...

    Love to all xx

Hello ladies, thank you @babybunny88 for your thoughtful post.

We were meant to be in Athens right now, so on the 25th was feeling v wistful at what might have been seeing that was our approx. date for fresh transfer.
I suppose for me the overwhelming feeling has been that DE was actually going to give me the closest opportunity I had ever had to actually becoming pregnant - I was right in the middle of my prep cycle - and now it has become the furtherest possibility. So sort of back to ground zero. Of course we can try again, albeit end of year or NY, but that thought, that all of the cards are still on the table, is helping me to look forward.

I am able to work online from home and have been doing so for a while now, and when I feel flustered and v sad at everything that’s going on around us (the virus, the travel bans, the unemployment, my in-laws & friends in Italy, Europe, what’s about to happen in the US) I’ve manage to turn this burning energy/anxiety into chopping hedges & whipper-snipping (highly recommended if you can find yourself a lawn), cooking treats which make me and DH happy and every day without fail making sure I get outside for a big walk on the beach or in the neighbourhood. Yesterday I wrote a small note to my elderly neighbours who live alone, and I believe don’t have family nearby, that if they ever need me to pick up milk or groceries that I’m just a text message away. It’s a v small gesture, but their sheer delight made me feel happy so I also highly recommend it!

Yesterday we walked through our beach town - which is a major tourist destination - and it was so eerie, so utterly devastating to see every single place locked up, no cars along the street, no heaving crowds, and laughter, and glasses clinking, the smell of beach and sunscreen, perfume, coffee grinding... knowing full well the sadness behind those closed doors, and that many businesses will go to the wall and not survive. And this is just one town. Seeing this made me all the MORE determined that we must get through this together, we must put our head down and do our best, and offer a helping kind hand whenever we can, and stay connected with friends, neighbours, family and work colleagues.

And all the pregnant ladies who are in this forum you must keep us updated! I think @Aok must be getting v close now

    Riverview xo
