So, I finally quit smoking 10 hours smoke free so far. I've smoked for 12 years. I was handed my first one by my ex when I was 15. But, I've had enough. Previously, I've quit while pregnant *because* I was pregnant, which gave me the excuse to start again when I wasn't pregnant. Now, it's because I want to and I'm ready.

Hi everyone! Tentatively joining in here. Not sure of testing date yet, just had Implanon removed yesterday, the GP said start trying right away but I’m halfway through a cycle so not much chance of ovulating this month, will try for March.

I’ve got an almost 2.5yo DS so back for number two, was hoping for a three year age gap but we’ve left it a bit late, so hoping it doesn’t take too long. I’m 35 now though so who knows.

    I'm post implanon too
Cycle 1 was 73 days long , cycle 2 was 33 days so a lot more manageable I'm temping this month to track O. BUT don't let this scare you off....in 2013 I had my implanon removed Oct 30th during AF and then found out I was pregnant on Dec 27th without another AF. So, FX this is similar for you!! GL and baby dust to you xx

73 days - eeek!! This is the first time I’ve had Implanon so no idea what to expect. I should start temping too, not sure how effective it will be with DS waking up 200 times a night though lol.

My temps look horrible and im mot sure theyll be effective either, between my DH and my 2.5yo I have no bed space so end up tossing and turning all night. I may have to figure out how to read OPKs although, apparently there's a tracking app with an OPK reader for those of us who are useless

I used to love the implanon, but I refuse to use it again. It was put in 1 week PP and I had 5 months of what all the doctors told me was "normal" PP bleeding finally, after 5 months I saw a new doctor in a totally different town and he did swabs etc...discovering high grade changes in my cervix. Further testing and procedures found that it was borderline cervical cancer! So, my GYNO has said "No more" to hormonal BC until I am at least 2 years in the clear of any changes so any abnormal bleeding can be checked straight away.
