    Default Blood in toilet

    Hi all,
Last night after sex with hubby (nothing crazy) I went to the toilet. Looking into the toilet my urine was red, similar looking to early days of your period and reddish, pink when I wiped. I’m 36 weeks and 3 days and never had this with my first baby so completely out of ideas!

I would call your care provider and request to be checked.

It could just be a bit of an irritated cervix and nothing to be worried about.... But it *could* be other things too, (early labour?) so for peace of mind, and to know what's happening I'd see someone.

Good luck! You're on the home stretch now

Hi @EllieR , how did it go? Did you have yourself checked? Since this post was a few weeks ago, I wonder if you had your baby?

    Hi!
Ended up being checked by my Obstetrician and it was nothing serious. I did lose my plug a few days later and ended up going into labour early at 38.4 weeks and having baby on the 19th!

@EllieR that's wonderful! Thank you for updating us, such lovely news! I think 38 weeks is safe enough for baby, LO sure didn't wait!
