Thanks again for the input into SA treatment. Sadly our donor did not respond well to the drugs and she only developed 4 follies. The clinic retrieved 4 eggs. Two didn't fertilise and the remaining two gradually broke down. So it wasn't a sudden shock, but a slow gradual realisation that this attempt was going to fail. Anyway, fast forward 2 months and we have a new donor but everything is on hold because of Covid. Our clinic say they will open once the lockdown ends and they've assured me that they will prioritise our treatment.

I wonder how SA is going to manage incoming travellers once they reopen. Will they have to self isolate for 14 days upon arrival? I haven't seen anything in the news, but then i guess they are still figuring out how to minimise the spread of the virus first.

Hope you're all well and safe xx
Sorry to hear about your last cycle, it’s such a journey isn’t it I hope you are being kind to yourself.

I think all countries will ask you to quarantine, id ask their consultant for their advice.

I have a friend trying to get to Thailand for a brother funeral & got a flat no! She is appealing it atm.

Good luck for the next transfer ... fingers crossed for you x

Any ideas on a easy way to export all of the thread content so that I have it for my children to read in the future???
Can you screeenshot the most relevant to you then print off into a book for your little ones.?
Not sure how many pages there are though .....

I didn’t read that but what a shame as it has some great reads .

Turns out there is 5241 Microsoft word pages of unformatted content
Just a little light reading and years of history of women searching for the children they've dreamed of having.
It's a little sad that the thread finished here, with a ban on travel and no ability at the moment for Egg Donation in South Africa to happen for people from overseas.

Thanks to all of you lovely ladies that came on the journey with me.

If anyone is interested in the content please PM me.
