    Default Aldi school special buys

Is anyone going to get any of the items? Anyone tried them?

I’ve heard the shoes are good.

I might get the lunch boxes as they are saying it’s like the smiggle bento box.

    Thank you

I havnt tried them as DD is only starting preschool but I am going to buy the re usable sandwich & snack bags as her preschool prefers kids to use them or beeswax paper to eliminate plastic waste. I might get a spare lunchbox as well.

I got girl's black shoes several years back. They were probably slightly better than similarly priced school shoes.

An ad came up on Facebook so I was reading the comments for you. Plenty of people were saying the shoes wear really well and that their kids outgrew them before they wore out.

I've always paid big bucks for school shoes and bought Clark's or similar.

Two years ago I had one pair of Clark's shoes replaced by the shoe shop 8 weeks after we bought them due to faults and the second pair were returned to the shoe shop 3 times to be repaired as the buckle kept falling off or the stitching would come undone.

Last year I bought both of my girls a pair of $14 leather school shoes from Aldi. One pair lasted 3 terms and the other pair lasted the year. The pair that lasted 3 terms were still fine on top, just that the tred across the bottom cracked.

Honestly, I'll probably just do the same thing again this year as the girls found the shoes comfortable and there were no complaints.

Our school uniform is runners, I’ve previously bought black runners as I think they look good. Do they have runners or just the more formal school shoes?

ok... I went to Aldi... oMg.... it was chaos.... I bought shoes. However I bought 2 lots so my kids can try them.

I purchased water bottles and the lunch boxes.

I did look at the reusable sandwhich bags. Didn’t buy them.

I went again and I didn’t like the re usable bags. They wouldn’t work for me.

But oh my goodness.. I then went to Coles and found the nude bento box on sale. A lot bigger and more compartments. $14.

If I knew that I wouldn’t of bought the Aldi ones.
