Yes I feel glad about the HCG increase, it's low compared to some but is growing nicely so I'll take that. It feels like I'm playing a never-ending game of whack-a-mole; HCG looks ok for now, but up pops a misbehaving progesterone level to deal with.
I realize everyone (especially on these boards) gets nervous about things going wrong even when tests are textbook, but every time I talk to someone it seems like we're just waiting for the final nail in the coffin, rather than a confirmation that things could actually be ok.

Well, I cracked. Tested as soon as I got home tonight - figured it gave us an extra 12 hours to process, particularly as DH has to go into the office in the morning.

Beta tomorrow will confirm.

That's such a hard limbo period to be in! The HCG looks really promising though <3

Hi, sticking in Jan/Feb as transfer was last Monday - so today is 11dp5dt for me.
I was given my HCG test today, so I wouldn't have to go over the weekend. I had been expecting a negative test result. Result was 25...
Personally I reckon that's me out/done for - the clinic said to keep my hopes up and test again on Monday, but FS agrees and thinks it's likely I implanted but has since failed - which matches what's happened with my physical symptoms over the last few days.
Going to be a tense weekend - plus then travelling for a work conference and site visits all next week - so terrible timing for what will likely be a horrendous period... man IVF likes to chew you up and spit you out hey!

@Robyn0312 I'm so sorry to hear that. It is extra hard trying to deal with IVF failures and keep going with the rest of your life when things are busy. I hope you get some quiet time to yourself during your travel and conference. Take care xx

Oh man.... latest results, HCG has grown well since Sunday (doubling time 28hrs) but Progesterone has dropped a bit.
Still no answers-use some extra pessaries and come again Monday. I guess we're just muddling though until HCG is high enough to go looking for something on ultrasound at this point.

Just thought I’d pop in with some positivity, I went through exactly the same thing. HCG indicated a pregnancy but progesterone was plummeting. I resigned myself to yet another failed cycle/chemical, as dropping progesterone was the pattern for all my other chemicals. But after increasing my pessaries (ugh) here I am at 29 weeks pregnant.

Totally get how you feel about becoming so adjusted to it not panning out that even with good results you just expect the worst. It took me until about 20 weeks for that feeling to disappear!
