Only a week to go before my ds starts! I can't wait lol. He gets so bored at home. Ds' school doesn't have a uniform so we're missing the excitement of that though I'm glad I don't have to worry about it at the same time. I've got his new lunch boxes but still need to get him a new drink bottle. He is so excited to be starting school.

A friend dropped off two bags of uniforms yesterday so we’ve got tonnes of second hand uniforms now. Will go through and give some to other mums from school. I have bought her a new school dress and a new navy skort so she has something at least that is new. We got shoes last weekend. I think we are all ready for next Thursday!! DH has taken the morning and the afternoon off she he can do both drop off and pick up with us on her first day.

House is going to be so quiet without the two big girls and I suspect I am going to have one very needy lonely 2 year old to contend with but hopefully she decides to start napping again without the excitement of big sisters to distract her!

DS starts on Friday next week he’s so excited! I hope he stays excited lol.

Is it totally excessive and baby ish to give him a change of school shorts and undies in his bag just in case?

Do it! I did it for DD1 despite her not having had an accident in years and she did have a poo accident a few weeks in - so I was so relived that was a relatively easy experience for her.

I put undies, shorts and a little packet of wet wipes in a big zip lock bag so the dirty stuff just got put back in the zip lock.

Ohh! Good idea with the wet wipes and zip lock bag! Yep I definitely will now. Just to safe! DS is pretty good but he waits until last minute, Like most kids 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s one of those big worries I have about school.. I’m worried he will have an accident and be too scared to sort it out.
