Default TTC #2 - how long did it take, and when to seek help?

Been TTC #2 for 10 months now. I am 35 in Feb. For the first 8 months was coupling this with weekly acupuncture. I stopped last month to give myself a bit of a break and the wallet.
The acupuncture was good, it increased my LP from 11 days to 13.

I guess I am wondering is 10 months in scheme of things now time to go speak to someone or classified as ‘normal’ for lack of better words.

My dd1 took us 3 months and prior to that we conceived within 3 months but MC.

Hubby has had a few surgeries this year and been on steroids for a few months - perhaps this has impacted his swimmers? Have the forms to get his sperm tested, just need to find the time to get it done during this busy season.

    Hi Lauzie,

I'm not sure about in VIC, but in QLD your GP will start investigations and provide referrals to fertility/allied associated specialists after 12 months of active trying if under 30, or if over 30 after 6 months of tracked-cycle attempts, or after 6 months at any age if there are any known issues.

If it's causing you stress then my advice would be to talk to your GP and fingers crossed for you.
