Back story, so based of my LMP I’m 7 weeks and 3 days. However my cycles are long 5/7 weeks (irregular). I took a Clearblue digital which said pregnant 2 weeks, so wouldn’t GP’s calculate that as 4 weeks pregnant?
I had an ultrasound today (external) and she said it didn’t look how it should at 7 weeks, I tried to explain my cycles but she wouldn’t listen. She didn’t do a blood test or anything, just told me to take another test in 2/3 weeks time.
I have had bleeding, bright red and cramps but I passed something large yesterday morning but the bleeding has settled into light spotting now.
Did anyone experience bleeding in early pregnancy and everything turn out okay? Or am I just hoping for a Christmas miracle?

Just wanted to make sure you’re going ok?
I have had early bleeding in every pregnancy (currently 25wks with my 3rd). 2 ended in miscarriage. I never passed anything unless I miscarried but mine was mainly from a sensitive cervix (I think). Personally I would get a second opinion. Only because they could be doing bloods to see if things are progressing as they should be. I understand waiting for another scan but surely doing some bloods would give you an idea of what is going on?!

What date did you think you ovulated? Because if it's far less than 7 weeks, then yes you're right it won't show anything of significance on the ultrasound. What did she see exactly? If there is still a sac even after you've passed 'something large', then it was likely just a blood clot and not the baby itself.
What were your HCG levels?
All of this information is important in assessing what the likely outcome will be.
Bleeding can occur with healthy pregnancies and is usually due to a hematoma.

LMP was 1st November, not sure on ovulation but I know I had implantation pain on the 14th, positive pregnancy test on the 17th (was very faint but visible)
And tbh she didn’t say much, just that it didn’t look how it should, she couldn’t see a sac or anything there just mentioned this white squiggle in my uterus which she said looked “like it’s pulled away?”
And I didn’t get any blood work done as she said there was no point.
I took another test today AM and was a strong positive.
Definitely going back for a second opinion anyway.

Maybe you were pregnant with twins and one came away, that happened to me, started bleeding, went in for a scan and there was a wonky looking sac to the side but one sac still looking good, one may have implanted a day or two later and maybe once she saw the sac or what ever it was that didn’t look right, she stopped looking, presuming that was it?

To have a positive on 17th nov, you must have ovulated as early as cycle day 9??
